Floodlights are in operation at the club using a token system and can be used until 10pm. The cost of floodlight usage for Social Tennis sessions is included within the annual subscription. Tokens cost £3.50 per 30 minutes for pre booked sessions and £4.00 per 30 minutes for ad hoc tokens. They can be found in the kitchen drawer with envelopes to put the money in the suggestion box.
Please note that there is an automatic cut off in the lighting mechanism, such that it is not possible to switch the lights back on until they have cooled, which can take 15 minutes.
The floodlights are controlled by a timer, such that they will not operate after 10pm. It is only possible to operate the floodlights when the token meters are illuminated, during the hours of 3:30pm – 10pm.
Visitors/friends are always welcome, but no one guest should play more than 3 times per year.
There is a charge of £2 per visit for juniors or £4 for adults. Envelopes are provided (by the telephone) for the fee which should then be posted into the Suggestions Box. Please write your name, the name of your visitor, the date and the fee amount clearly on the envelope.
As a provision of the Club Insurance each guest must be signed in (Visitors book available by club telephone) and the guest fee paid prior to going on court. Envelopes are provided for the fee which should be posted in the suggestion box.
Members are also welcome to bring guests to Social events. A guest fee is payable in addition to any entrance fee for the event, and the member must sign their guest in on the event sign-in sheet provided.
In all cases, the member must accompany their guest during their stay in the club and will be responsible for their conduct.
Each year the club has an allocation of Wimbledon tickets from the LTA, based on the number of our members who are British Tennis Members affiliated to the club on 14th February.
To enter the Reedham Draw for these tickets you need to be a British Tennis Member, affiliate yourself to Reedham Park Sports Club and then opt into the ballot.
British Tennis membership is free of charge and easily joined online at www.lta.org/membership.
You cannot play in the Surrey League matches unless you are a BT member.
PLEASE LET THE MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY KNOW YOUR BTM number once you have joined.
