Weekly Update 18/02/19

Dart’s Evening – 23rd FebruaryPaul Gavin is organising a Darts Night on the 23rd February, starting at 7pm and costing £6 for members and £8 for non-members.

Please remember to sign up either in the club house or by emailing Paul at paul.gavin@hotmail.co.uk. It’s pay on the day and you’ll be given a country when you turn up, but we need to know numbers by the end of tomorrow, 19th February.

For anybody that hasn’t been before or is not sure of the format. It’s a collection of fun pub dart team games which will be explained before each round. There’s about 4/5 boards that will be put up and teams will be arranged on the day. For anyone that’s had any experience trying to hit a double to finish a game, no need to panic as there will be none of that.

If you’re still not sure about darts then please come along for a drink.  Winter Team Shield
Since our last update, the match between Team White and Team Peachey was abandoned due to persistent rain. However, last Friday saw Team Trotter take on Team Peachey with the match ending in a hard fought draw. With only one “round robin” match to play (White v Edwards), and then the SuperMatch (when all four teams play) time is running out for those wishing to make the Grand Final.Even though Team Trotter have yet to win a match, they can have a substantial say in who will play in the Grand Final, when they play in the SuperMatch on 1st March!TeamPointsEdwards7Peachy 7White5Trotter3
